Where you see color
In sleep for all to dream
I do, I do see words
Words becoming a part
Not only just of me
But for two’s journey as one
It is in words of this life
Must I put for that in me
For the words of this world
Constrict and leave me searching
For more to be
Though what I seek, appears when I close my eyes
I still feel her heart, our heart
Together beating, racing toward this dream
The life of her smile
The roads of her thought
Eclipsed, so ripe for the touch
So lucid for the night
Are we, in storm clouds
Of light
What cools my skin is her thunder
What removes my fear
Is her rain
A moment that lasts forever
A second that is eternity’s sweet comfort in me
So quiet are these times
So distant is time’s last memory
And in dream, for this life
When most close their eyes to sleep
I seek that all do wander
Save for I, save for I
In life’s searching for meaning
In answers who know no reply
I seek to fly beyond, when I close my eyes
The life I leave behind, is mine and mine alone
Then to find her there, inside of me
As always was she a part of all
That lived, breathed and grew
Far beyond my eyes could see
I do see, as the color of her words
And life, more than dreams
do bring me, yet to engage
And my body is surrounded
In her song, as sweet lullaby
In this life, I see
A gentle kiss to remind that in me
A place, a time
A gentle laughter in the wind
What she gives, she gives inside
And my heart does recognize
My soul to touch
My life to repeat
Her words, her dreams
The colors of her beauty
Drawn together at the seams
All words make beauty for her
All truth does accentuate my love
Our love is but words in this world
Yet so much more beyond
This physical world of dream
She is to me such as color
And color as light much more than words
In me
Though words may be all I have
In this world, so much more are these words
In color, light and dream
I give you all to surrender
I give myself all onto you
My love is your love, and my heart
Is your blood’s nectar
Drink forever, and forever we shall be
