Ariadne's Thread

Truth has No Beginning

hold, last words fallen

the cold breath of morning has

come to wake us again

the warmth inside, these last words of night

do give such reprise, from the bitter world frost

held on the tongues outside

the fantasy of our flight

contrast, the flickering white, to the cool black night

where stars are held, by lovers

as lovers are we, by star night gazers

that stand up by the enemy

of cost and forgiveness

which is often lost, and sadly never found

in fear that is frozen, in the cool morning air

i hold you in my arms, i read your memories

our bodies entwine

sweet ecstasy, ripe fruit is nectar

held in the corners of your skin

never change, i shall grow with you

need the bounty inside, my color wood dreams

dreams who hold you, naked

soul outstretched past the winter landscape

that seeks to erase, what might come between

lovers seen in you and me

dance, shout, sing with me, this dream

a winter can be so childish, as winters often are

as lovers lose, by the thread of day

and ocean of light, the truth that could become

the beauty of their flight

so hold me near, when fear comes near

and know the season, of emotion that never comes to reason

when the kindness in your eyes, my soul to seek

and waters to rise, from the rivers and lakes

to the body of clouds, held, in the zenith of the sky

the warmth of winter does exist, in reality's yawn

heavens so blue and roses at dawn, never knew so much color

as the color my eyes see, when they see into you

winter is eternal fire, fiery as lovers on a hot summer's aisle

such beauty is truth, and this truth does know you

this my heart, this my heart knows as true

then, when the season, in blistering cold steals all reason

and emotions act to seal such treason

i begin to understand, from the seasons inside

are the true seasons i have, as do anyone who

lives on this earth, when in truth, there is, no true compromise

i do find, all truth has such fury

and truth knows no lies, so lay your body next to mine

when the fear dwells within, and find your way through

just as my heart sees deep into you, our arms to love

and souls do arise, from the icy depths, where in future's past

did end, or scratch its way through, the waters frozen

by coldness beginning, when no truth did change

from simple reason, to beauty all with a smile
